Marketing Lead
Position Type: Full Time
Reports To: General Manager
Position Goal:
To support the Logan’s company with its needs related to internal and external marketing, including but not limited to signage, digital ads, website management, weekly emails, events, sales floor marketing and other marketing tasks.

Job Expectations and Functions:
1. Signage Design and Production:
- Create visually appealing signage for promotions, products, and seasonal displays.
- Coordinate printing and installation of signage across the garden center premises.
- Walks entire store 2x weekly minimum + as needed to remove old/outdated signage, replace any faded or discolored signage and look for additional sign and advertising opportunities.
- Discuss weekly signage needs with all dept leads and stores. (Before printing or posting any ideas from team leads, get approval from management.)
- Maintain signage for all soils/mulch pallet displays
- Maintain all EZ-AD screens. These should be kept seasonal/up to date and not remain stagnant for excessive periods of time.
1. Print outs/Fliers/coupons design and Production:
- Ensure that any big event has fliers near the register for guests to pickup
- Ensure that our other stores have proper signage and fliers
- Create a visually appealing coupon for any class/event etc. for immediate redemption as well as a bounce back
- Design and order bucks to be passed out in the spring and fall
2. Event Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement event strategies to drive foot traffic and customer engagement.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and seasonal events tailored to current trends in the gardening community
- Help garner a list of supplies that may be needed for classes, workshops and events. Ensure that all supplies are ordered promptly if needed.
- Help set up the space for classes to be held, including setting up projector, tables etc. as needed.
- Aid leadership in creating ideas to improve any of our internal and external marketing
3. Email Marketing Campaigns:
- Curate content for a weekly email newsletter highlighting promotions, gardening tips, and upcoming events. This is typically sent on Wednesday but should be prepared by EOD Tuesday in case it needs be sent early to get weekend promo info to our guests.
- At times it may be necessary to have a second email, or an email be sent earlier in the week due to a promo going or due to a holiday
- Manage email distribution lists and analyze campaign performance metrics.
4. Digital Marketing Support:
- Help keep the website up to date with any information relating to but not limited to current products we sell, services we offer and ongoing sales
- Assist in managing social media platforms by suggesting content, monitoring engagement, and responding to customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members assisting with social media on digital advertising campaigns and online promotions.
5. Customer Engagement and Outreach:
- Cultivate relationships with local organizations, influencers, and community groups to expand brand awareness.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and feedback received through marketing channels.
