Join us for a 6-week class series geared to the novice gardener. Learn from gardener Deb Nelson about organic vegetable gardening practices, basic gardening techniques, and the horticultural reasons behind them. Our goal is to give students the knowledge they need to be successful in growing their own vegetables. Each week, a new topic will be discussed that will build on the information from previous classes in the series. Topics include basics of growing plants organically - planning the garden, building beds, planting, tending - and finally harvesting your crop.
Classes are $25 each per person per class, and the first class is free. Limited Space Available. Registration is required. You can register at Customer Service or over the phone (919.828.5337).
