PermaTill, a soil amendment product, is made from a unique slate found in North Carolina that is heated to 2000° F, which causes it to expand. These expanded slate particles are strong enough to use in structural soil applications. With one application you can improve drainage and aeration of your compacted soil — and block voles — therefore, PermaTill and VoleBloc are one in the same.
